Frontier EP [The Outlaw Ocean Music Project]
Much like the written word, music is capable of evoking an emotional response enabling us to tap into memory, forge associations, and provide a backdrop to our lives.
EP was written together with my good friend David Harrison (akaย Super-Frog Saves Tokyo) during a 10-day studio session in early January. Inspired by New York Times & Pulitzer Prize-winning authorย Ian Urbinaโs best-selling book '๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ข๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐ ๐ข๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป', we immersed ourselves in the book and audio-visualย field recordings, crafting these four pieces of music to try & reflect what we read, heard and saw.
The 4-track EP will be released as part of the multi-artist
