The Blizzard (aka Lars Nyheim and Tore Jensen) hail from Sørreisa, Norway and have been releasing brilliant records since 2007, most recently ‘Pegmatite’ on ASOT and let’s not forget their 2019 single ‘Molecular’ here on Pure Trance. ‘Blue Hour’ is taken from Pure Trance Vol. 8, where it was ‘Retouched’ by Solarstone – the Extended Solarstone Retouch is right here, alongside the wonderful previously unreleased Original Version which cruises along at a relaxed 127 bpm, with classic Blizzard melodies and grooves all present and correct.
