‘Electric Love’ is Solarstone’s first single of 2010, and the second track to be lifted from his forthcoming artist album ‘Touchstone’. His Original Mix has a Jon Marsh/Beloved-like reflective lament to the vocals and builds minute on minute with its elegant coursing melodic tone. Vocalled by Billy McGruddy (former front man with arch-indie agitators the Southern Electrics), it again displays an instant 20/20, HD view of Richard Mowatt’s unique electronic dance sound. John 00 Fleming & The Digital Blonde’s remix replaces the of the Original’s melodics with a peak-time, megawatt, no-prisoners-taken floor-ready number. Destined for many a peak-set play, it’ll be lifting numerous club roofs clean off and working many a festival tent-peg loose over the course of the next 3 months. Elfsong (Scando-trance producer Krisztián Kertész) delivers a similarly skyscraping remix of ‘Electric Love’ and completing the package is Ferry Corsten fave Rafael Frost who moves the track into deeper and further into prog-trance territory. Also included are a Rafael Frost Dub and the Video Mix which will be gracing TV screens imminently.
